Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfil any one of the following eligibility criteria to be considered for Bihar CET B.Ed Admission 2026:
- For Regular B.Ed / Distance B.Ed: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/or Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities / Commerce OR Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science & Mathematics with 55% marks or equivalent.
- For Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.): Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as the main subject and Master’s Degree / Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or equivalent.
- Candidates with Shastri B.A. (including Sanskrit) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university (2-year course) are also eligible, provided they pass the Bridge Course for Acharya (First Year) / MA Sanskrit (First Year).
Note: SC/ST candidates are eligible with 45% marks as per government reservation norms.
