Stage 1 โ Preliminary Examination (Screening)
Paper I โ General Studies (100 Qs ยท 200 Marks ยท 2 hrs) counts for merit list. Paper II โ CSAT (80 Qs ยท 200 Marks ยท 2 hrs) is qualifying only โ minimum 33% required. Negative marking of โ applies to both papers. Only Prelims-qualified candidates proceed to Mains.
